Usually, yes. Several US states require a warning on plastic bags above a certain size, and most retailers and marketplaces require one regardless of where you ship. Tell us which markets and stockists you are selling into and we will place the warning and any vent holes before the artwork is finalised.
Frosted is the usual choice for apparel: the garment reads as a soft shape rather than a product on display, and printed artwork sits well against it. Clear shows colour and fabric exactly, which suits shade-matched items. Opaque conceals the contents entirely and gives you the full surface to print on.
A folded tee sits comfortably in roughly 250 x 300mm and a hoodie in about 350 x 450mm, though it depends on how tightly your team folds. Send us a folded sample and we will size to it, since a bag cut too close will not close over the zip and one cut loose looks slack on the shelf.
The film is LDPE, which is widely recycled through store drop-off points rather than curbside collection. Printing a short line telling the customer that is more useful than a general recycling symbol, and it is the honest version of the claim.
