A base that locks under load and a top that is glued shut. You get the weight capacity of an auto bottom with the tamper evidence of a seal end - the box has to be torn to open, and it will not give way underneath while it is being carried.
Products that are both heavy and sold sealed: supplements in glass, liquids, age-restricted goods. It is also common where boxes are filled on a line, since the glued top closes faster than any tuck.
No, and that is the point. A seal end is a one-time opening, which is what makes it evident that a pack has not been tampered with. If the product is used over time and needs reclosing, a tuck top or a lift-off lid is the better structure.
