Six printed panels folded into a wallet, typically with pockets or a hub for the disc and the remaining panels carrying artwork, credits and liner notes. It gives roughly three times the print area of a two-panel jacket in the same footprint.
Usually a roll fold or a gatefold depending on how you want it to open. A gatefold opens symmetrically from the centre and suits a central image; a roll fold reveals panels in sequence, which suits notes and credits.
